Yes…I have said at least 5 times in the last few hours ‘we must make pasta more often’. It really is a joy.
I agree with Sally, I love the way you told it with photos and the color differences with b/w. But I was curious, your pasta roller, brand name? Is it only sold there across the pond? I’ve never made homemade pasta and have always wanted to but the units to roll out the dough aren’t cheap and I want to make sure I get a good brand.
Thanks Sara. It’s an Imperia, it wasn’t expensive but it works well.

What a gorgeous photo story. We used to make pasta with my Mum when I was little but as an adult I’ve not made it for years – I need to get a pasta machine!
Do get one, they are quite cheap and I bet you would make excellent pasta.
The best thing I ever got for Christmas was my Imperia pasta roller. I try to use it twice a week. I’ve gotten into making ravioli and cappeletti recently and I’m loving playing about with flavour combos for the fillings! This is a lovely post! R

What a great mother-son moment in the kitchen! I absolutely love it. And love those wide pappardelle-like noodles. Great stuff!
They were supposed to be tagliatelli but they got lost a bit in translation due to wonky knife-work. Who cares though…with eggs straight from the chickens, a simple sauce of garlic, oregano, tomatoes and balsamic, it tasted amazing.
Pasta is fun. Fun to make together. Fun to eat together. This was a cute post. So are you using photoshop for the text overlay? thx
